Zaleski explores MDDS middleware potential in new article

Bernoulli CIO John Zaleski published a new article on how middleware’s capabilities can move medical devices from charting to active patient monitoring and intervention. The piece appeared on Jan. 12, in MD+DI Online, an influential publication for medical device professionals.

Zaleski writes, “The breadth and scope of MDDS middleware’s capabilities facilitates ways in which hospitals… can leverage the data that flows from a device into a system of record. The use of the data to improve patient care management and clinical decision making comes immediately to mind—but that only scratches the surface of what is possible.”

Zaleski also explored the critical factors hospitals need to consider prior to implementation of middleware.
