Bernoulli CIO John Zaleski published a new article on how middleware\u2019s capabilities can move medical devices from charting to active patient monitoring and intervention. The piece appeared on Jan. 12, in MD+DI Online<\/i>, an influential publication for medical device professionals.<\/p>\n

Zaleski writes, \u201cThe breadth and scope of MDDS middleware\u2019s capabilities facilitates ways in which hospitals\u2026 can leverage the data that flows from a device into a system of record. The use of the data to improve patient care management and clinical decision making comes immediately to mind\u2014but that only scratches the surface of what is possible.\u201d<\/p>\n

Zaleski also explored the critical factors hospitals need to consider prior to implementation of middleware.<\/p>\n
